Participant municipalities and possible local Roma health mediators selected

The first step of the project which started in August 2012, was to select the participant municipalities and the possible local Roma health mediators. There were six settlements involved in the project. These settlements are: Ózd, Nagyecsed, Kántorjánosi, Nyírbátor, Györtelek, and Nagydobos. A three day training program was held from the 6th-8th  of August 2012 in Nyiregyhaza, the biggest town in the region (North-East–Hungary; Szabolcs County).  Twenty individuals from seven settlements participated. Six mediators is working through a final selection process.
