Face 2 Face international meeting and field trip in Slovakia

Project partners from Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and representatives of project donor- Glaxo Smith Kline, met during the last week of May in a town of Poprad, Slovakia to discuss their respective progress and planned activities for the upcoming period in Together for Better Health project. 

On Thursday, May 28, 2015, project partners participated in a field trip to Roma settlements to observe the conditions of hygiene and sanitation that project aims to tackle. Together we visited settlements in Jánovce, Spišský Štiavnik and Hrabušice. In settlements we were accompanied by local Roma Health Mediators, their Coordinators, representatives of local municipal governance, and settlements inhabitants.

In the afternoon of the same day all partners participated in a workshop where we discussed progress on new project agreements, plans on embedding Personal Hygiene and Sanitation Education (PHASE) concepts and materials in respective countries, and plans for data colletion based on chosen indicators we agreed upon. 

This Face 2 Face meeting started off another 3 year period of PHASE project.
